Meet the owner
Our owner, Lamar M. Allen, discovered his passion for balloon artistry & decor; excitedly playing with balloons and creating pieces & figurines at an early age. A native of the Motor City (Detroit, MI), Lamar got his official start in the event planning industry as a teenager while working at a local retail party store and professional balloon decorating company. This would later inspire Lamar to start his own company, and expand his creative talent and passion. After realizing there was an opportunity to show his talents on the campus of Fisk University his freshman year, he began creating balloon decorations out of his dorm room for local and university events. After gaining much traction and many balloon decor requests, LaMarvelous
Balloons was born!
Our commitment to environmentally safe practices.
We pride ourselves in using top quality products that are harmless and environmentally safe. Our latex balloons are 100% organic and biodegradable. All of our helium inflated balloons (including our helium filled metallic and foil mylar balloons) are weighted to a balloon weight to prevent being released into the air, as balloon releases pollute and cause harm to the environment. We are proud members of the Pro Environment Balloon Alliance, whose aim is to work with balloon professionals, environmental groups, government officials, and media to eliminate the organized, deliberate release of balloons and to educate the public on the responsible use and disposal of balloons.
